General Info and Policies
Who Can Attend Camp? |
All camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender). |
What Should I Bring to Camp? |
For court sessions: For the dorms [overnight campers]: |
Where are Camps and Clinics Conducted? |
All camps and clinics are held at the Corral in the Yuengling Center on the University of South Florida (USF) campus. |
When do camps and clinics begin on the date? |
After check-in there is a brief orientation and/or welcome meeting and then sessions begin. |
When does registration for camps and clinics close? |
Overnight camps, if staying in the dorms, close one week prior to the start of camp. Overnight camps, if commuting, close 24 hours prior to the start of camp. Daily commuter camps and clinics close at 11:59pm EST the day prior to each respective camp or clinic. Team camps close one week prior to the start of camp. Please also note that once each camp/clinic has reached capacity, no further registrations may be made. Do you allow walk-up registrations? |
Unfortunately, we do not accept walk-up registrations due to availability and ability to accommodate additional campers on short notice. |
Is there a waitlist for sold out camps and clinics? |
Yes, you may be added to the waitlist if your camp of choice is full and no longer accepting additional registrants. Please email info@shepardsonvolleyball.com to be added to the waitlist. |
How do I request a refund? Is there a fee? |
Please email info@shepardsonvolleyball.com will the subject line ‘Camp Refund Request’ to request a refund for your camp/clinic. Please see the Refund Policy to review additional details. |
Can I transfer my registration to another camp/clinic? |
Yes, to transfer your registration, send an email to info@shepardsonvolleyball.comwith the registered participant's full name and the name of the session they wish to attend. We are unable to transfer campers into a sold out camp/clinic or a camp/clinic that has passed its registration deadline. |
Can I request a roommate? |
Yes, overnight campers may request a roommate under the caveat that there is reciprocity in the request (each camper makes a separate roommate request). A request is considered only when both campers request to room with one another. Unfortunately, no guarantees can be made that a request will be fulfilled but we will try our very best to accommodate it. |
How many campers are in a room? |
1 to 2 campers will occupy a single room. In odd number instances, 1 camper may be assigned to a single room (normally designated by request or to the eldest camper). |
Is housing available outside of the listed camp dates? |
We are not able to accommodate housing requests prior to or following check-in and check-out for each camp/clinic. We are likewise unable to accommodate requests for housing in between separate camps/clinics. |
Is there supervision in the dorms? |
Camp counselors stay in the dorms with campers and are place on each floor where campers are presently housed. |
Which airports are closet to campus? |
Tampa International Airport (TPA) is a 25-minute commute from campus. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is a 75-minute commute from campus. |
Do you provide transportation to and from the airport to campus? |
We do provide airport shuttle service for an additional fee is prearranged at least 14 days in advance. |
